I have the Boston Acoustics in the SS. So I had to switch to RCA plugs.
From the moment the unit powers, there is a terrible noise coming from all speakers all the time.

The sound quality when playing music is just fine.

After playing around with setting and stuff, the keyboard is missing-does not pop up when needed. The only thing it does is display a little keyboard in the left upper corner. Also in the settings menu the chosen standard keyboard is in light grey so I think it is enabled but not functional. Video http://youtu.be/PXI1z2zBr-0
Even installing another keyboard and choose this as standard does not work.
I have to use a USB keyboard to be able to type something....

A few hours after this post......
Update on my earlier posts.....
OBD update works with a 2 gig SDcard, not a 64 gig so update went well.
But after reboot the system keeps crashing-rebooting.
Pulled the fuse, keeps doing the same sh*t over and over.
Next solution ->flash the system with Android 4.0.3 (as it was).
Flashing went OK.
System works again so tried the OBD update again.
Same sh*t. Keeps booting.
Flashing for second time with Android 4.0.3 ->flashing does not go through the whole process, giving errors.
GAME OVER!
Back in the box to China.

There is no display of played song or navi in the HUD. Next or previous song selection on steering wheel does not work.
Wow. Sounds like they screwed it up really badly with that update. I hope you get it resolved. That noise is horrible.

Yeah that sounds really bad. Did you get direct from the company or purchased through someone on here? Either way, hope everything is resolved for you.

On the flip side, I did the update for the BT Dongle and Torque is now working as stated previously by another user. Has anyone downloaded the other fix "update"? I don't think I am experiencing any of those problems so I am not tinkering any more then I have to.

How do you get the back up sensors to work once the radio is installed?

I'm really on the fence about buying this now. A couple of people have had problems which require shipment back to China. But the big thing for me is the microphone. If the unit had a microphone, I'd order it today. Without, I just can't do it. I imagine myself pulling my phone out of my pocket to make a call on the way to work, and forgetting it in the car while I'm on a trip for 4 days.

I'd got with the MyLink, but it is so limited for loading music, that I just can't go that route either. I don't care for the Scoche or Metra kits. But the stock radio (mostly the voice dialing) SUCKS! I have to do something, I just can't decide what.

On the front there's something visible that could be a Mic but I can not (and have not) tested this.

I sent Lim this e-mail:

"Lim,

Does the ANCH809/8300AG (for the Chevrolet Camaro) have an built-in microphone, or a jack for an external microphone for phone calls?"

His response:

"Hi, yes build in bt , please access the bt icon and not the bt on the setting that is for obd2 functions used .

now obd2 functions work on android 4.0.3 , if needed , please read the instructions and after need to order the device to make it work ."

Huh?

FAIL

Since I wrote to Lim saturday, after he responded me an hour earlier, that I would like to return the unit because it's "dead" he no longer answers my e-mails.
That is not good
Picture says it all......

I got a new update file from Lim to trie and recover the unit but still dead.
He says that the board is dead.
Lim writes (in his best English).....
HI,
Once you press the reset button on front face after insert the sdcard upgrade in gps slot , the cd disk will run and upgrade is progressing and on after 15 minute and then remove as it will keep upgrade even don't show anything on screen .

after 15 minute , remove the sdcard and on the unit , it will recover as now the system and display is all corrupted .

if cant mean the android cpu inside the TFT board at front panel side is died and need to recovered by sending back to us for repair , the android mcu is easy removed after you open the froth face and unscrew the board .
my design is very easily for serving !!

At least he got back to you finally. It also sounds like they know how to fix i. Shipment to China and back sucks though. They should find somebody truly bi-lingual though.

He is much more bi-lingual than I would be.

Well I only hope the board gets there...I have read more than once that goods get lost, even when secured.
I have to say, after taking everything apart, that the build quality looks very OK.
