Dear Friends of the House, could this be the 5Gen Z28 hidden in plain sight? Your thoughts please.

Maybe...

What did the plaque say?

Edit: Looks like a Transformer Edition. Isn't that the badge they put on just behind the front wheels?

Don't like the roof stripes......they don't look good on a GT500 either.

I like everything but the wheels. They're not bad looking it's just that 22s don't belong on a Z28. The rear brake duct thingys are a must. I've been told they're not functional but I don't care they look awesome.

They dont look functional. I dont get why they go through the trouble of putting non funtional ducts in the fender. Why not just make them functional?

Do you have any more pics of this car?

It doesn't make sense that they would roll out a Z/28 prototype badged as a TF edition. It even follows the same paint scheme.

It's not a prototype it's just the TF3 car. I believe 2nd Chance was trying to say it would be a nice body for a Z28. I agree.

You're right, it is the TF3 car. I like the front splitter and facia more than the ZL1. I think it would make a good Z/28. I don't know if I like the louvers on the hood though.

Then why bring it out? So they can laugh at all the Z/28 fans while we wait?

Consider it testing a product. Remember these cars have to have a long shelf life before the next design is released. So how do you keep a product fresh? By releasing changes to the product gradually. GM said in the beginning that they would showcase new developments to the Camaro every 6 months. Again I'm sticking to a Q1 2013 showing and a Q3 2013 release for the Z28.

I could see if it was at an event where they ran it on a track but has it moved at all?
