Thanks I'm just gonna stick without the shroud unless it's required seems like it makes it more complicated. So even without the shroud do we need to cut?

It's part of what you have already. It's not that biga deal. Maybe some one with a v6 that did this mod who didn't cut anything can chime in. But I had to cut a peice off no big. It's kinda what mod means. I really thought the change over was going to require more than trimming 2 3 inch peices.

Did you use a dremel to cut it I don't mind cutting I just don't wanna screw it up

I cut mine to put in an race scoop... a hacksaw blade works great.

I'm not 2SSRS but the impact absorber locks/clips into the bumper itself. The grille may have go first then impact absorber. I don't remeber for sure.
