I don't supposed there is any chance you looked under the black tape in the lower-left corner on the part in the upper picture? That's where the "MIC" connectors are found on the AN-21U boards. I'd like to know if there are "MIC" connectors on this board.

I have to say, after taking everything apart, that the build quality looks very OK.
I think you should send the TFT board only, not the whole front board.

No, he also asked to send the little board with the knobs.
Maybe it's because het wants to test if everything communicates?

How hard was it to pull that all apart? My A/C and recirculate buttons are reversed. They both work like they are supposed to, just the recirculate is marked as A/C and the A/C is marked like it is the recirculate.

No one else has even noticed, but I know. If it is not difficult, I figured I would switch them around real quick when I have the radio out this weekend.

so what are the current issues with 4.0? it seems bluetooth and the microphone problem are the biggest issue, and i think the bluetooth issue has been corrected...

Bluetooth has been corrected. The only issue I still deal with is the microphone. I hate talking on the phone anyway so I forget that is even an issue most the time. Talking to my daughter with the cell phone just sitting in the car, she says sounds the same as it did with the factory radio.

Anyone coming through the Austin area that wants to see the system is welcome to let me know when they will be here and I would be happy to meet somewhere for you to see it. I never get tired of talking about Camaro's any way.

I don't think the microphone problem is unique to 4.0. I think this unit just doesn't have a microphone. Maybe someday it will. If so, I'll buy one (if I don't come up with something else first).

Does anyone have a video of the unit working? Do all these updates apply to the 2 DIN head units as well? I'm somewhat interested in these units basically just for the Bluetooth function and apps like Torque, but I don't wanna sacrifice audio performance. I currently use a Kenwood .... w/usb drive for music, nothing fancy at all, I just don't wanna regress here.

Does anyone know if he will sell just the bezel or if they are available some where else? From what i've been reading its an AN-21 U head. I'd like to use at least a head running 4.2 or higher, but this bezel is great.
