Just took a couple of pics. When the light hits it, it looks amazing otherwise it has a really dark appearance. Unveiled the camaros car cover to open the hood to see how it fits...Depressed. Missing that leather interior scent.

Hey guys, it was great getting together yesterday. I had fun. Too bad I had to duck out early again. Next time we get together I hope I don't have conflicting events. haha.

James, not sure I could do 3rd shift. I'm a morning person, always have been and always will be. I like to sleep when it is dark out.
I really hope I get the position though. I want to get back to the CF/Waterloo area again.

Also, I'm wishing grandpa a speedy recovery. I hope things go well for him.

Rberns, that cover looks awesome! I need to get around to painting my engine cover. I have been meaning to do it.

BenningJ, take a look at this thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195338

Seems like he does some amazing work. I am planning on having him to my engine cover since RPI doesn't have any products that I like for this cover.

Unhappy Grandpa is in Hospice

I appreciate everyone's prayers for my Grandpa, but as of this posting they're moving him to the 8th floor at Mercy in Cedar Rapdis for Hospice.

They can do nothing more for him except oxygen and morphine. :( It could be a couple of days or hours.

Mom and Dad are keeping me posted since I'm unable to get down there until tomorrow morning after work.

Appreciate all your prayers and support. Love ALL of you guys and gals!!!

From Fbodfather in my e-mail this morning:

Seems our good friends at Jalopnik have placed a poll on Facebook -

"Which do you prefer - theCAMARO ZL1or the Mustang GT500 --

AND -- it appears that Ford has tried to 'stuff the ballot box' --

SO -the poll ends this morning - please show the world how we feel about Camaro!

Go here: http://www.facebook.com/questions/10...68/?qa_ref=ssp

right away!

Got this from a friend.......

And it looks like Ford's trying to stuff the ballot box:

http://www.facebook.com/fordmustang/...17644578327314

Y'all gonna let them blow the Camaro ZL1 out of the water?

The mustangs may win on paper, but lets take them to the track with the ZL1 and see who wins.

Hello to those on here. Put the down payment on my new 2011 convertible, supposed to be here on Monday. Look forward to learning/sharing with those on here. Would like to upgrade the exhaust and the dealer says they have one they can put on. Had a tape of it but wasnt all that impressive. Any ideas to help a newbie. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Iowa section Quakersacker. Post some pics when you get the chance. My advice is wait with the exhaust until you get the chance to listen to a large variety.
