Took it out tonight and continued to drive and get about 500 miles before diff oil change again. The TrueTrac is exactly what I thought it would be and do -- the 'helical' gearing does 'clunk' when you get on it (like they said it would) and with it being cooler here, I was able to test out the 'which wheel' will get the power -- really sweet!
While I was at it, I upgraded the MightMouse Catch Can with the Gen 4 filter (took out the rubber check-valve from the older SB filter) and just installed. VERY simple. Like the looks of this one better: ![]() May go ahead and paint the bracket black next ;o) -Don

This came in today! This will be my 'lower' hx:
![]() This will be the 'last' hx in the line and will feed the second Varimax and into the intercooler brick. Should help with recovery and keeping the IAT2 temps in check! Will be starting this over the weekend (if weather permits ;o) -Don

Not really a 'mod' per se, saw this and I liked the idea so this finally came in from Oracle:
![]() Gonna put this in and see what she does ;o) -Don

Took all of 5 minutes (had to use the 'trim tool' to take off the lens). Nice unit! Like the fact I can change colors when I want:
Lens: ![]() Install: ![]() ![]() Test: ![]() ![]() I did notice the remote needed to be 'close' to the unit (like right under neath it). Not a 'race car' part, but heck, I gotta have some 'cool' effects too... -Don

The 1st one I purchased from oracle flickered like a strobe light during the "fade on"... the replacement just doesn't do anything during the "fade on", it just pops on at full brightness after a short period of time. What's your experience like with this?

Thanks.I do like how bright it is... much better than the old bulb and a few of the other LED replacement options.

Yep, the old bulb (wire) could 'fade' in since it was not a 'custom circuit'. I do believe that is why it pops on vs the buld. Looks like our cars have a 'delay' load to give that effect...
Yep, much brighter for sure! Thanks! -Don

So, there is a lot of debate on 'flatspots' on tires, so, since we have some cold days and I like race ramps, I got these:
FlatStoppers (14" wide to give me a bit of room): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Once I set the location, I taped the area and it makes it easier to use. I really only need these for when the temps get low and I know it will be a few days. Fronts are always going to be there (helps me get the car set in the garage), rears when I need them! Low enough to drive over with no issues (with my lowered setup): ![]() ![]() ![]() Not for everyone, and I know folks can 'overfill', but for me, this is what I like to use. Weather today is low 50's, tomorrow 70's so I'll get on the hx update! While I was at it, I order 2 of these -- just in case (for the SC): ![]() https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Gates 36310 Belt Drive Pulley -- Like to have backups as needed and the price point it great too... -Don

JPSS Radius Inserts
Well, some good news and not so good news.
First the not so good news: Not enough room for this hx setup I was going to try. It all has to do with the Trans Cooler -- I can't move the Ron Davis or the ADM Trans cooler enough to make room: ![]() The lower hx is in the same boat -- due to the Trans Cooler. I needed to lower the lower hx about 1.5 inches to make sure it cleared and there is not enough room (the lower hx is 6.5 inch). So, that means if I intend to do more hx, they need to be smaller and 'split' -- not sure how efficient that would be -- I'll need to think about it but I could do dual 'split' hx that are not as wide, thicker, and not as tall -- will need to see what is out there. Good news -- JPSS radius bushings are awesome! I love these vs the poly ones -- fitment was perfect. Very easy to install (I did have to drop the splash shield and the brake cooling ducts), but outstanding. Applied suspension grease and popped them in! Once I hit the track, I'll be able to tell -- did some spirited testing here -- very solid. Here they are in all their glory: Polys: ![]() JPSS: ![]() ![]() ![]() This is an excellent upgrade vs the Poly if you intend to road race/auto cross. Way to go JusticePete! -Don
