Yep! Nothing at all wrong with the other half of the country having as much fun as we all did this year. You guys are going to have a blast!

If you are not going to make it a central event then I think it should rotate every other year. I still think Central USA would be better but I can understand.

What will be interesting is to see which place gets a better turnout.

that's a big part of why we are moving it this year... we'd like to see if there is a location that is better.... or if we should do a different spot every year....

and possibly only half of the attendance.... Kinda risky to go that route... And then it forces the Sponsors to choose. I'm thinking very few would go to both events if we had two a year.

My guess is the attendance will be similar, but with different people. Camaro enthusiasts are passionate. Camaro sales on the West Coast have been a great success for GM. An event like this will be VERY well received by the West Coast based 5th gen owners. It is also an excuse for some to take the drive of their lives and head out West.

I was just at the GM Nationals and blown away by the number of 5th Gens at the event. I see no reason that Camaro5 cannot have a tent, a presence at the GM Nationals next year to fill the void while they experiment with a West Coast event. I'll even jump in and say I'll be the Camaro5 GM Nationals Tent Sponsor to make it easy for them.

Everyone should understand this is not an easy decision for them to make. No matter where they have it 1/3 of the country is going to be left with a long drive.

I think you will be surprised by the attendance from the East Coast even if you locate the Fest in the West. A compromise location for the second year may reflect a true level of the interest sparked by the Camaro Fest, Ga. The First Camaro Fest cannot be duplicated. All subsequent Fests will benchmark on Ga and grow exponentially as the Camaro population and interest increases. 1/3 will have a long drive....yeah no problem.....drove from Va to Ga starting out with 200 miles on my Camaro .....had a ball! Looking forward to Fest II!

When we finalze the details with the facility....

There's a lot of back and forth.

We are moving this along as quickly as possible but we want to keep the costs to you guys down as much as possible....

Forgive the delays We are working dilligently on it.
