My 1le is officially under the knife! 6-6.5 hours and a few beers later and this is where I sit currently. The oil pump pick up tube bolt wasn't a problem at all, but actually getting the oil pump off was quite the chore. Other than that, pretty straight forward so far:

Less progress today. Got the cam back in no problem but decided to make sure it was degreed properly, which took us a couple hours, setting up n all. Then reinstalling the pump turned into a major ordeal. I originally shimmed the two gears to center them up, torqued down the bolts, then went to install the pick up line. No go. Basically, after an hour of screwing with it, I decided it was time to start over. Had to install the pick up tube first, then just hope that the pump would center up after I torqued everything down. I got lucky, but that was literally all I got done today. Now that the hardest part is done it's all about reassembly. Should have heads on tomorrow.

Me too, and the intake baffle removed tricks up the manifold a bit.

I am in Tucson and just got the GF her first Camaro and need some ideas on exhaust. She has a 2014 SS auto and is looking between the borla atak and corsa. Is anyone local willing to let her listen to the two so she may she which she prefers. Thank you

Search around on these camaro5 forums...I'm sure you will find many suggestions. My only suggestion is to remember that the A6 cars have the L99 engine and AFM/DoD. With that being said the certain exhausts may cause drone, etc. The resonator box does do alot for this, as your exhaust note frequency will change when kicking down to 4 cyl mode. The stock mufflers (uncertain of this) may have "J" hooks built inside to deal with the drone as well.
