Bobby I understand it's a complaint thread, however its been taken to the extreme. I would completely understand if it was say Oct of this year. However it is May. Hey you don't have to agree with me.

Piensky i see that the first dealer oversold and didn't tell you. Now how many more people do you think this has hapened to? If said dealer had been allocated for 5 cars, sold 10 all R6P cars who's fault is that? See where I'm with this.......

A word to those who are taking out anger and frustration on each other:
I understand about the frustration; many of us ordered in October and we're still waiting to have our cars delivered, but I don't understand why we are spewing so much venom at each other. I know this is a complaint thread, but toward the mistreatment or ill-preparation on GM's part. We need to stick together and support each other now more than ever. If you choose to cancel because you're tired of waiting that, of course, is your choice but, welcome to the real world where life doesn't happen at your pace.

hi all
first of thxs to all the info from this site it helped me determine what I wanted. Lots of great info, debate and pics. Now my problem I ordered in jan, still at 1100, dealer is total useless he turned me on to the site for info.I see lots of people getting cars before my order, I also see the orders not coming in from Oct. How long??? I can get a new c6 for 10k off here I can get Jag XF for 41K if I lease it. All the special deals out there and I sit. I even looked at stangs this weekend. I was 6th in line at my dealer allotment 2 already dropped. I have to get camaro Scotty to run my event code. Is this what GM has come to? I even called the putman chevy GM and asked why he's over msrp. I don't want to know about event codes, I just want a car. don't let me go over to the other side. I am not happy with the communcation, knowledge, and helpfullness of GM and my dealer in fact I think they want me to back out so they can sell the car for more then the agreeded upon msrp. hmmm I wonder if they will go back on their word on that also. Sorry for venting but I am pissed!!!!!!!

Nothing I can say other then, hang in there. I'll let our resident cheerleaders do the pep talk.

I ordered in Oct and just moved to 2000 last week, so things are creeping but moving. It's just how bad do you want the Camaro. I know I can look at other cars and all these crazy deals but I know how much I want this Camaro.

The thought of me in my Camaro keeps me going. After I get it, I would have forgotten how long I had waited for it.

Just hang on... the otherside is butt ugly.

As my login name states ex c 6 I sold my vette in jan to get the camaro. I was a long time owner of vettes and to have that in a sleek new body with that motor well I was in. even the A5 audi is looking good. come on GM get the preorders first not Avis waiting rjt 2ssrs

we all understand how you're feeling, trust me. what dealer did you order from? what was their allocation when you ordered?

good things will come if you are patient enough. at my dealer, i was told that they had been allocated 32, i was their 42nd order. a month after i ordered, they received an additional 5 allocations and they offered me a spot, but i had to pass because of financial reasons. i spoke to my dealer last friday and he said that there are only 2 orders ahead of mine (people dropped out, still deciding, etc.). my order should go in in july .

if this is the car you want and the car you've been waiting for, find another dealer. dont give up!!!

I ordered in January also and moved to 2000 on Saturday. My inventory manager got 5 allocations all in one day, which surprised her greatly so things are moving. Hang in there a while longer it is a truly beautiful car and well worth it.

they had 5 intial allotments in which he said they were selling at 5k over mine was number 6 then in the next week or so they got another allotment me and at msrp. but it is sad that I would wait for that tuesday and either call or go into the dealer and if he's not there no one could run the computer and check it out 3 weeks ago I went in talked to the gm and was trying to figure it out for me no use just asked camaro scotty now I don't even feel like checking in any more the fun is leaving the excitment is slowly going bye bye
