It seems like I missed alot over the weekend! New club rule.... If Eric is off at a training for the weekend everyone must sit at home polish thier wheels. Nothing more! LMAO!

I did bust my racing cherry on the way back today though!! One of my troops would not drop it and followed me back toward Bossier and after a few taughting engines revs from him on I20 I dropped the hammer on him! He doesnt believe my car is stock now! hahahahaha silly mustang, interstates are for camaros!!

Then his buddy has a supercharged one! Also, of course they all have Vettes, go figure! All in all it was a great meet and great! Looking forward to the next meet. And Jimmy I did pull Chris which hell I should of but it wasnt a good race we had too much traffic we are going to re run to see what's really up!

What did I miss buddy? You know better than that, You have to get contact numbers so the "PRESIDENT" can call them....

On another note, Mark and I ran today and it was ummmm Not in my favor, Congrats mark your car runs good man you should be happy..

Next time Scottie I will def get contact numbers so the Prez can do work! And yes we did run and it was fun just to gauge where I need to be and I'm sure Scottie used it to gauge what he also wanted. On another note I raced a Mustang 4.6L with a procharger ughh quick car but I pulled em. Super nice guy. We put identical numbers down on a dyno and we were both auto so it was a good fun race! I still want more power! What shall I do next??? Oh and most importantly, great seeing everyone at Sonic, Katie was greatful to get out of the house since she has to be on bed rest!

And to the local guys are we going to try and meet up or what?
That's good to hear... although another black mark for your build shop. At least you have everything installed and running reasonably good now... just need to get a good tune to complete the circle. Will be in touch...

I really believe, as a club, there needs to be a better way to communicate meet ups and such. I would have come Sunday but I was busy cleaning our cars all morning and didn't check these forums. Maybe a simple text the day before or the morning of? Aren't some of the club's officers in touch with other clubs? How do they handle "getting the word out"? Maybe even make it someones "job" to ensure the word get's out...Secretary? I don't know, I'm just brainstorming...

Dropped my car at the body shop this morning. Fixing the scratch on the hood, installing a new heritage grille with SS emblem, and painting the stripes. Should have it back in time for the Asbury Church show this weekend.

Allen, There is no problem texting but seems that everyone pretty much watches this forum, If you check your email daily you can go into settings on your profile on here and have email notifications emailed to you once a new post is made, I see alot of post that way when I cant get online, Sorry you missed us, we will try to make adjustments as a club to suit everyone!
Thanks;
Scottie

As a board member I do agree with the texting thing great idea Allen! Jimmy if you're willing to send mass texts out to everyone that would in the best interest of the club I believe. So everyone can PM Jimmy there cell numbers. President are you in agreeance that and the rest of the club? We never want to leave anyone out of any function the more the better when we meet!

I'm sorry to, would have loved to have been there. I have my notifications set to daily, it's better for me at the moment to do it that way(work schedule).

I'm just trying to help out and doing something like a text would keep the club from relying on these forums, which are out of your control. What if they were to go down or go away for good? It happens and having something internal would really help out if anything like that were to happen. Take it or leave it, they're only suggestions. I know some members have talked with some other club folks, how do they handle announcements and such? I'm terrible with names and I apologize in advance but there was someone at the meeting I went to that took down names/numbers.

Allen, No worries bud, I would love to suit everyones needs and concerns, I will look at appointing someone to send out group text messages and/or emails when we are trying to have a get together, Im sorry you were excluded from this event and I will do my best to fix this problem and your concerns, even if I have to send the text myself, Please PM me your contact number and information. Thanks and I appologize again,
Scottie
