LOTS (seems like most) of the window stickers are no longer available. I don't think it has anything to do with the individual car but more of the system in general. Why some are there... I have no clue. But if there was a problem with all the cars whose sticker is no longer up then GM has a HUGE problem on their hands.

So this scan is running and GM.ca officially sucks. I have it trying up to 10 times with 3 second delay between each to try and get all the details for a car and it still misses a bunch. I don't get it. Not only that but it's incredibly slow. At any rate, it's posting it up to http://camaro.spasticsquirrel.com/ca/ and http://camaro.spasticsquirrel.com/ca/kml.aspx for the KML for the map. Their formatting is kinda dumb so it's not pulling the interior color or stripes or msrp (which isn't even there).

I re-checked 1 to 600 and noticed that of the window stickers that still worked, a lot of them had white or CGM stripes.

I started my program last night re-searching for all 10 trims from 1600 to 2400 using the Canada site and found an additional 8 in Canada. The search for A (1LS auto) is still running. I'll probably do this search tonight for 1800 to 2400 which should pick up new US cars.

I've got mine running on 2 machines right now... the "current" search on the webserver and the "old" search on my desktop. It took about 7hrs for the desktop to run through 1-1400 but i'm not sure it worked completely as it only found 2SS manuals. No clue why. I started it off again on 1-2400 so we'll see if it fares any better this time. It's already found a couple more 2SS manuals even though I've already run the search twice over those same #s. Obviously it's not very robust.

Why can't the US site just behave? lol.

Heinzd01, is there a way to know what model this is ? I know he has 2 cars coming before mine ( SS, and a LT ). Just curious.

Oh, and thank you, and UFC w00t again for doing this. It makes the wait much more bearable

See post 950. The VIN you highlighted is a 2SS automatic.

OK....deep breath everybody...maybe, just maybe, GM is in the process of final prep and shipping for all of those hundreds of cars sitting in the lot at Oshawa. If that's the case they may need their computing power to do their job.

Hopefully the efforts of our 2 gracious members are not clobbering their computers and slowing down their efforts. It might prudent to hold our efforts to the "off hours" otherwise we may get some unwanted attention.

The US sites are broken. Not sure if they did it on purpose or it's just a glitch but at any rate it's returning very few stickers for Camaros. The canadian search is super slow. You might find yours in the list. I'm not sure why but it's only finding 2SS manuals. I think my code might have a bug. Will have to look into it when I get home.

Nope not on there...
Just be sure you let us know if things are working again. Maybe it is better for me if it doesn't work. I spend way too much time checking it anyway!!!
