That's pretty much it. Basically, shifting the stick itself is quicker, by about half, hence shorter "throws".

It sounded to me as if they are fixing the issue but until they do, they weights go on. I doubt they will replace the calipers on cars that have already been produced unless it becomes a safety issue.

Sorry I always have a ton of questions.
Because there are a lot of pre orders to get out, once those pre orders are out then yes they will start to show up on the lot... BUT that wont be for a while now... probably December a the earliest... unless they ramp up to full capacity with 2 or 3 shifts...

June of 2010? Or this June? I ordered in March and I'd be extremely lucky to get mine by June... in fact I can almost guarantee you I won't. The only way I could see you getting one this June would be to happen upon one that the original ordere backed out on, or the dealer just happens to have... which we have seen happen in this forum already.

With regards to insurance, call you insurance company and get a quote, mine will go up like $5 a month over what I am paying now... nothing major. In fact that's what most in here are expecting as well... pretty good numbers really.
