Me too a bunch of us should plan a day to go it would be interesting. Ive never been to any dragstrip before, or track for that matter.

The only problem is I work on the weekends but i could always take a day off. Also would we need a helmet or anything like that? And I would prob have to get new tires mine are getting pretty worn down in the back. We should def pick a day and plan, I'm not good at that stuff so someone else will have to do it lol.

My thought if I get a GoPro is to tether it to something, I think I got this idea from one of the Virgina crew that came up to Geneva. Just have to make sure that if the tether does it's job (if it has to) the path that the camera would take. Kinda pointless to secure it only to have it run over.

i have never tethered my gopro, and i have used it a lot. it is important that there is no dust on the car/glass where you are attaching it and that the suction cup is also clean. i have had mine all over the car, biggest problem with tethering is where to tether it to.

the gopro also has an upside down mode so you can hang it from the inside of the windshield if you are afraid of losing it.

Well have to check the website to see there rules.. But a few years back I would compete in the MOMs (mustang on mustang) bracket racing out in Leicester, NY with my Terminator Cobra. If you ran in the 12s and below you had to have a helmet and there could not be a passenger. If you ran in the 10s you had to have some type of cage.
