I was in Battlecreek 2 days ago, it will end up in proviso interchange where mine is right now and switch to Union Pacific railroad. It looks like a long way to Butte, probably 2 weeks at the rate it is going. I'm waiting for mine in Missoula and the dealer told me 11/20.

yah i got mine from Karl Tyler Chevy in Missoula too. Kinda weird that we arent in the same car, dont u think? How did they come up with 11/20?

I'm not sure how they came up with that, but there is an eta for every vehicle in the computer system for all new VIN#s at Karl Tyler. They told me possibly 10 days from Ontario, but count on 3 weeks.(looks like 3 weeks to me) Once the car arrives in Butte it is put on a truck to Missoula.. We will probably be on the same truck.

Its pretty cool that google put the rails in the google earth.
If your really obsessive like me you can also use the path tool to calculate the rail miles....

Layers "Places of Interest" > "Transportation" > "Rail" click on "Rail" to turn on the tracks

1.5 X highway miles=railroad miles, right?

Although in this case the rails are along side the 40 the whole way!
