There are quite a few owners, and while we have no Austin specific club, we have several gatherings each year, and partake in lots of events... You are more than welcome to trek to San Antonio with me on any Friday night I'm home, or we can plan to meet at Cabelas any Saturday night...I'll hook up with you most anytime, as will most of the regular Camaro trash around here....lol
You will probably find as I have, that some of the best friends you will ever make are due to this amazing car...
Pm me, and we'll make something happen. I still have two weeks before I go back to work, and the biggest thing I have to do is finish some custom engine cover work... ...

Thanks Kyle, TX! Looking to expand my universe a little.

Dealer is estimating my car in Austin this Thursday with pick up on Friday. Got hung up in Illinois for a "few days" for some reason. Interesting, all Camaros, maybe others, are shipped by train to San Antonio and then trucked to destination dealers from there. SA is a huge new car distribution center.

2LT, black with orange stripe and orange interior trim package. Has that got UT written on it or what?

Look forward to meeting ya'll after "she" arrives.

San Angelo, TX here. Looking for a club nearby or fellow C5 owners in the area. I'd even be willing to drive to Austin/San Antonio for meets.

I was wondering if that would happen. Tag was actually referring to Kyle Gilmour, one of our locals, and I live in Kyle...

Yeah, San Antonio, Kirby actually I think, is a huge depot for unloading cars.

If you want to put a few miles on her, let me know, and you can trip with me to San Antonio this Friday. It's my last chance this time home, since I am dropping my car off in the next week or so for some minor modifications...

Hey Everyone. I bought my 2011 Black RS a couple of months ago. I'm from San Antonio and just wanted to say hi. I have specialty plates, can you guess what they say?? I'm trying to upload pics...

Welcome to the group!

I've had my 2SS for a little over 7 months and I love it more every day.

I used to own Jaguar XKR's (see my garage) and never thought I'd find a car which I would have the same passion for - until now!

I now try and find any excuse to open the garage door to put the trash out just so I can look at my Camaro (lol)
