We are only having this type of conversation because GM is A, not shipping our cars, and B, not communicating as to why or at least tell us when to expect them (about). I understand what you are telling me, I do understand there is a hierarchy that is part of any message board, that’s the nature of boards online from what I have seen over many years. I am one of the old timers on a sports board that’s been up since 1994. Everybody knows my name...lol. I’m really not thin skinned when I get put in my place on any board. I think the people here are very helpful. Every personality is different, and they can become exposed online when frustration begins to set in. Some keep it in check more than others, nobody is wrong if they vent in a non-harmful way IMO. It’s OK in my book to vent, get responses back of all different types. I’m a big boy, not a big deal. Fully aware this isn’t a life or death event just waiting on a dream car. Now for my silly way of thinking. I split life into 2 categories. The serious, many of which you mentioned, and the entertainment category, like sports teams, cars, motorcycles, camping etc. I am the type of personality that wears emotion on my sleeve, no matter which category it comes from, but I am aware there is a big difference between the two categories. I will keep my head low and my powder dry...I like that.

And I always appreciate intelligent people. IMO I include you in that catagory. Not that I'm the resident expert. I have been known to be wrong... once. ROTFLMAO Peace

LOL....just went on my dealers website and they list my car with vin number as new stock.

OK......as I drove by the plant , the one thing I noticed was there was few vehicles on the plant property..........GOOD SIGN..........usually if there is a problem there would be a lot piled up there.............across the lot at the shippers there were groups of all zl1 cars as well as groups of mixed variety, SS,RS, RAGS, ZL1........The cars that attracted my attention the most were the IOM colour with the dark stripes.............orange in the sun with the stripes.....awesome...........pulling up behing that white zl1.........the first thing you notice is the big spoiler and wide tires.......zl1 cars as easy to spot with the black rims so popular, even from a distance, and I had binoculars...........LOTS OF THEM.....now what I have to do is wait a few days and go back and check the orders of the cars to see what the shipping movement is..........I would guess that if shipping for zl1 's hasnt started, it will right after shutdown............a hold for a month or so after MY change sounds about right..........

My dealer also has one showing on inventory, but a different VIN#!

My exact car now shows up on my dealers website. VIN matches and everything. The last time this happened they had the ZL1 there the next day. Now I don't expect that to happen, but maybe it will physically move soon?

I'm on their website now!! Now they have TWO ZL1's in inventory... And neither has my VIN!!

You guys are way ahead of me. I am trying like hell to locate a ZL1 on my dealers web site. I cant get anything to come up on that web site, not even a volt.

OK, I got a volt to come up, but no ZL1's Zero. I am talking about a large market LA area Chevy dealer. If I am not mistaken, I think LA is a fairly decent market.

Tomorrow is a new day.

I wish so much that Mechanic1 had an opportunity to take a picture of the 500 plus or so ZL1's in that gigantic parking lot.
