Lim said that anyone that has the 512GB memory or smaller can order the 1GB memory and change it out yourself.

The RAM memory comes with the processor module, not common. Has to be purchased from Lim. External flash memory is regular microSD

i saw the picture and it looked like a regular laptop ddr3 chip with a heatsink on it. however i can't say i know about whether or not its a standard ram chip or if it's a ram+processor chip

i bought my non working system from someone here on this forum(not gonna say names) and LIM is working with me on getting it working. My radio is currently sitting at my desk at home so if anyone needs me to snap pictures of the internals let me know.

i think this is an SBC(single board computer) and the Android Operating system is "saved" on this board so even if we find a new board with higher specs the unit will not do anything because there is no operating system. As far as i know there is no way of restoring the OS onto the radio without flashing it directly to the board which requires specific hardware.

Smile Very Interested

Hey guys, I have read this entire thread and I think the benefits of this unit outweigh the issues. I'm planning on getting one but I have a few quick questions.

1. Can you change the celsius to farenheit?
2. Are there any voice controls? (Can I make calls or control the system)
3. Can the factory AUX port still be utilized?
4. Does the source button on the steering wheel change between aux/radio/cd? Also can music be changed while gps is running?
5. And finally, does the dvd slot play audio cd's?

Sorry for all the questions. I read the entire thread and I couldn't find clear answers to these questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One more question... The current Android version on the device is 4.0, is it possible to jailbreak and upgrade to the latest Android version 4.4?
