just wanted to get this out too ! the show is not about show car quality cars but they are more than welcome ! its about getting together meeting great people and having fun ! so dont come expecting awards we want real daily driven cars or just weekend cars are fine too but all camros and vettes are welcome !

Okay guys, tell me what you think. I am wanting to get the RX Catch Can. Obviously it will clean out the intake but seeing as I have almost 38,000 miles is there anything I should do, like SeaFoam, before I install it? Is there a specific procedure for introducing a cleaner like SeaFoam to the engine?

I have searched for SeaFoam threads on this forum but most are fairly uninformative for me as I have way more miles than many people on this site. Let me know what you think, Thanks.

I am trying to get things arranged for GM to bring us something "cool"...however it may be a no go as the 'shipping budget' is depleted with my contact. I volunteered to drive something down and back to GM - even offered to pay for gas. Have not heard back yet.

I am also looking at the Rx catch can. I am a little nervous about the standard brackets since it is so close to the belts and I am thinking of getting the driver side bracket. However, I am not sure if it will fit on the driver side with a CAI and washer bottle relocation kit.

JBenning-- Will you need to take apart the intake manifold and clean it all out first?

I don't think so. I would think that filling the intake full of SeaFoam would clean out any current deposit of oil. It wouldn't be too difficult to get to some of the intake and clean if I really needed to though...

I think you will be okay with either of the relocation kits available.
