I figured the post wasn't offensive enough to warrant attention of otherwise busy moderators. Instead, I approached the post with a humorous response to keep the thread moving. Alternatively, I could have responded to the post by pointing out its incorrectness, arguing for a while, and derailing the thread. Apparently, either response would have led to a thread closure.

I think they are just tired of them over all... I mean there are SOO MANY that pop up EVERY day, that at any sign, they shut it down now...
