In the list of Sub-lists, you have a "Bone-Stock, except Non-Stock Tires including drag radials" category listed, yet there is no table for it.

Is it due to a lack of submissions? If so, perhaps you should change the category to the "Warranty Wussies" (or maybe something more appropriate) category that allows only commonly accepted non-Drivetrain-warranty-voiding mods like Cold Air intakes, Aftermarket Exhausts, Suspension mods, Weight-Reduction mods, and non-stock tires. (And maybe shortie headers.)

SGOS: He's a stock L99 A6 running on stock tires in 1200ft DA. Looks more like he's #132 on that slip or something is really off.

Padre,
WhileI don't understand it, I was there on Saturday and can confirm that that is ineed his timeslip and he did run a 12.53 @ 109. We looked at that ticket for 30 minutes and the only thing I say was the 60-330 looked a little quick (about .13 quicker) but all the other incremental times fall in line. Maybe just a fluke run but I can't find a solid enough reason to call it invalid. The track also believed it to be a valid ET as they used it to place him in the 12.50 index arm drop races.

Congrats! That makes him the world's fastest stock 5th gen, with the world's quickest 60'.

Thanks, I agree, which is why I didn't raise the BS flag. Just need more clarification since it's a big claim.

Did he back it up with any other sub-13 runs? What did he run in the 12.50 class?

Also, compare it to SteelShark's timeslip above his.

Same day, same track, warmer. And he's just two-tenths from a cam+bolt-on car?

Hard to believe bone stock auto running a 12.5. Maybe there is an error in the track cal/placement of car number. Look at the missing time at 1000', something was up. Sorry for hating Maybe if it were zero degrees and the car was at sea level giving it a huge negative density altitude. Definitely need some follow up runs to back it up, I'm sure that was not the only time the car went down the track that day. Having said all that, my car is not cammed and put down an 11.8 @ 115. Maybe he got a screamer from the factory and had the best run of his life that day. I did dyno my car the other day and put down 370 HP and 380 TQ, no internals...

Due to the "outlier" type situation with this time slip, I'm requesting additional time slips for your car for comparison.

Your time is significantly faster than "normal" for a stock L99 A6 given the conditions at the track.
But I would love to see a stock L99 A6 take over the top spot on the 1/4 mile list. I just need some additonal evidence that the car is capable of running this time.

So any additional time slips with similar times would be helpful.

In addition, another trip to the track for additonal time slips on a different day would really cement your claims.

Also, is the car 100% bone stock? (no tuning, intake, internal mods - cam, etc).

Thanks

I don't know what to believe. The 60' time is believable on stock tires. My best on stock Pirelli's was 1.87. However, the ET just seems too quick for a A6. Around here, we're only 21 feet above sea level and frequently get negative DA during the winter, and the auto Camaro's can barely manage to break 12.8-9.

I'm not doubting the time slip is accurate, I just wonder if the car is truly stock, NOTHING change from the factory. No cai, or more importantly, a trannny tune.

I wonder if his idea of "stock" is the same as the Mustang guys around here. If all is legit, I bow to your greater ability.
