Took it off. Not sure if you've tried yet, but the engine cover isn't even bolted on! It's just press fit. It comes off much like the battery cover does on a tv remote

Remove the oil cap and set it aside. Lift up on each corner of the cover in the front (closest to the nose), once each side is out, pivot the engine cover up from the front (as if you're lifting it parallel to the open hood) and pull gently towards you. It pops right off.

Just for your info: Of all the hundreds of Camaros at the camaro5fest I could only count 5 or 6 whites at any one time and I think that was the total- Still a pretty rare color. There were maybe 3 new greens and 3-4 aqua blues so Summit white came in a close 3rd for rarity. If you watch the cruise video you will see just how rare the summit whites were. I was near the end of the pack during the cruise.

That's awesome! I love that we have a rare color, but still one that looks SO damn good. The Camaro looks good in just about every color, but I enjoy not getting lost in the mix with so many other reds, blacks, silvers, etc.

Finally got my vin on Thursday. Summit White 2SS/RS Black Rallies, Black Interior and polished wheels. Should have it in 10-14 days. Can't wait! We need a front plate here in NY so I made a nice low bracket that mounts underneath. I'd like to leave it off but have already been warned about my other car.

THE BLIZZARD COMETH OF AGE.............

Eibach comfortably lowered my "BLIZZ" 1" front and rear and also installed the sway bars. Mods to date: Foose Legend SS 20"s Black. Havok rear spoiler color matched, side marker blackouts from SPX, Tint, K&N Typhoon, Engine cover painted (similar to VIRAL) and last but not least Eibach Pro Kit springs and front and rear 29mm anti-roll/sway bars. (Thanks a ton BBUSTER).....coming soon..... Phantom Black billet grille... oh , just turned 10k miles too.

I'm from Freeport. I hope to hook up with some of you guys when I get my own ride! Where do you meet? Your car looks great by the way. I see you didn't use the stock front license plate mount either. I hate the stock location, mine will sit a few inches lower than yours. I plan on lowering the car eventually also. Love that Summit White!!!!

We usually meet at Bellmore Train Station on sundays , and try to get together with other clubs etc at Floyd Bennet Field in Brooklyn on a monthly basis unless there are other shows / meets posted. I just put the Eibach Pro Kit wit sways on mine, it seems to handle more like a vette than a camaro. WOWZA

I had the orange stripes (ridergraphix) installed yesterday. The color does not match the factory inferno orange hood & trunk stripes. I will post pics tomorrow after her bath to see what U guys and gals think

BBUSTER , I can't thank you enough. It definitely handles completely away from stock. I would suggest anyone that has the Camaro do a suspension upgrade.

Just picked mine up today! 1LT RS. Going to do some basic aesthetic improvements this week - blackout lights, black vinyl for the bowties and gills and rear panel, and 25% tints. Call her Catalina. Better pics later...
