BTW, joined an S4 forum yesterday. The House has more action. Posted a newbie thread and got 1 reply.

A guy has an awesome build thread and it's basically 290 posts from him and one other guy.

The S4 is a somewhat rare car as I think the Camaro outsells the A4 alone, but puts Camaro5.com in perspective. Help and input are nearly immediate here.

Nearly... Have been participating on forums for.... damn has it really been over 20 years?! This one is one of the best. Reminds me of New Orleans.... a big city with a small town feel. Thanks for allowing me to contribute.

I would think very few S4 owners would change the car that much. Which I believe means less discussion to be had.

These guys are going down the same path. This thread is on a B5 (B-segment, 5th generation). There are threads on "bigger pulleys" and "chips" for even the B8 which I have.

But I would have thought there would be a lot of good discussion in his build thread.

Is it a lack of passion? I have owned a number of BMWs. I modded one to the max. The others I drove the wheels off. They were great cars, but they felt like an engineer designed them. Everything worked perfectly. They lacked soul. They were fast when you turned the key. Walking to the car, sitting in the car hou felt confident. The Italians get passion in design. The car may not have started back in the day, but you were excited even when waiting for a tow truck.

What say you #3?

Pretty fair assessment, Pete.

For all the things that were or are wrong with the Camaro (based on 3 years of comments and discussion on Camaro5) it has NO shortage of character and soul. In fact that is what it is.....rolling character and soul with a large dose of bad assery that an Audi could never pull off.
