Glen as of the time I left. But there was some hemming and hawing since the left lane at the time of the race caused (Jim? -sorry if I got your name wrong man) to break off sideways and had to let off....plus he doesn't have the CAI. So not sure what the outcome was :P

Best I could do out of all my runs was a 14.309 at 104.04 MPH. I was pretty much around 14.5 and 103.90 the entire night. The track seemed to be much more slippery than the last time. Plus I was working on technique for my launches...

I had traction control off for all of my runs. I didn't want to mess with competition mode last night.

Here you guys guys. I did about 7 runs, but I'm only posting 3 of them. The other 4 were either mistakes on my part by missing a shift or I was spinning my tires at the start.

I'm still trying to work on technique of the launch, but I am starting to become more consistent with my car. I have to figure out what the density altitude numbers would be.

This will be from the run I did 14.309 at 104.04.

If you want to see the site I'm using for it check this out.

http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

I spoke with Glen, and he pointed out a few things that I needed to change. The Absolute baro at SIR is more than likely wrong. So using the info from the calculator for the barometric pressure and putting my my temp, humidity, time and speed I come up with:

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
13.612 @ 109.426 MPH

I'm running a Cold Air Inductions intake and Borla Exhausts.

On all slips I'm number 1073

****EDIT I fixed numbers to reflect correct usage of the calculator as per Glen's advice****

Ok, here is my best time from last night. In each of the 4 times that we have been out there, my very first run is always the fastest. Interesting. Anyway, this DA corrects to a 12.676 @ 110.475. Moved me up to 26th on the Official list and 15th on the un-official list. I'll take it. A 2-1/2 tenth increase with just the tires. Jim conceeded the race, but being the gentleman that I am, I will give him another chance. Best 2 out of 3. That is only if he doesnt get the 125 shot NOS. If he gets that, I'll have to get a 250 shot. Had a good time last night. Good to meet you Matt. Stay in touch.

Had a great time at the track, was a little dissapointed at first with my times, best 13.68 @ 103.17 that corrected to a 12.92 at 109.28. The 1-2 shift was scary, the 2-3 shift even scarier, I guess I will put the stage 1 TCM tune in and see, As of now I plan on going back on April 9th.

If I could just get some good launches with out the fear of the rear end sliding out from me I would be more aggressive. This manual is just a monster...
