I would have loved to have made the first one. Due to people with more seniority than me I was unable to get the required time off. Round trip would have been 7 days worth of driving and I couldn't do it without taking time off.

daytona international speedway would be an ideal place to hold it, we also host the largest car show in the southeast the turkey rod run. why not have it to coincide with that show and everyone just come then.

http://www.turkeyrun.com/Turkey_Run_Home.html

possibly could put all the camaros on the track and be some of the first cars to be on it with the new asphalt. just a thought

So when (Oh Mighty Moderators) will the Fest location and dates be announced??? Vacations at most establishments/employers are based on a first come first served basis for coverage.. It's time..

I hope so, I think Firebird will be easier and better to get in and out of for an event like the fest. Trying to get everyone in, out and around through the traffic in Vegas would be a real hassle.

Yeah, would be great to know by at least September. When I come back from Yellowstone/Teton I can begin planning a trip to C5Fest.

We will tell you as soon as we know.... We are actively talking with the leading facilities.

But until the cotract is signed.... we aren't going to tell 20K+ people anything until we are as sure as we can be.

I know you all need to plan for vacation, so do we. We have day jobs also.

the last thing we want is to say something now, and have to change it down the road and be hunted down by 20,000 angry camaro fanatics...

probably a few more weeks.
