Hello Donna, Just a big HI from Arizona. Plenty of Camaro's out here at the dealerships and on the road. Must be the weather...lol Having alot of problems with the 6 speed stick shift, reverse is too close to first (up and left) yet on the V8 its right and down, the way it should be, Damn GM screwed up again. Several small issues found now that I have driven the car 5200 miles. Contemplating a sell. Bob from Queens, 2LT Summit White, sunroof.

Hi Bob and Maryanne!!!...we all got together at the Bellmore train station yesterday for the start of 'our Camaro meet season'...lol...
It was finally warm and sunny enough...50 degrees here on LI felt like summer...lol...
Sorry you are having your issues with the SW Camaro...:(
Maybe you should talk to someone on the forum before you sell it...others that have your tranny might have some good advice...
I just hit the '5000 mile mark' last week and have no complaints at all ( fingers crossed...lol...)...
I love my 'ROCKETSHIP' more and more every time I drive it if that is possible...it is not perfect...what in life is??, but it is perfect to me and that's what counts...
It is the 'happiest' car I have ever owned or driven IN MY LIFE!!!...part of that happiness is this forum and all the friends I've made on here and met in person...
We are all brought together by the 'love of the Camaro', and for me, it doesn't get much better than that!!!...

Prima Donna: As a long time ago L.I. resident (Garden City), I spoke to you here a few months ago about meeting you L.I. guys/ "& gals" this summer while visiting my Mother-In-Law in G.C. with my SS. I don't want to be negative but isn't it possible to find a better place than the Bellmore RR Station for a get together ?. When we had car shows/meets on L.I. we would go to Eisenhower Park, Huntington Town Park, etc. Can you do Ally Pond Park in Queens ?- Of course Ally Pond Park was for other things too- LOL.
Maybe I'm just spoiled here in the woods of Ct., but we have much better settings for our car shows/get togethers.
Again, I don't want to be negative, but I can't see driving 130 miles to L.I. to sit under the L.I. RR tracks in Bellmore... WOW, I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for this one.

We have a meet on 3/21 at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn where we met last December...see my signature pic...
There is a thread in this section titled: "Floyd Bennett Field" with pictures from last December...
That was a great spot...wide open field with plenty of parking...that could be a possible location...
Keep us posted on your schedule so we can set something up when you are here...

Thanks Donna- Tied up this month and heading South early April with the Camaro for visits to my daughters in Md and then onto Camaro5Fest. I know I'll make it to L.I. sometime this summer to meet up.
