Chevy would have to actually advertise the thing; otherwise, I feel many people may never even be aware of it! The 6th gen has been out for a few years now, and the trims really haven't changed all that significantly. I would wager that most people already assume they wouldn't change for 2020. |

The v6 has been a good alternative for the entire 6th gen. Unless the 10 speed can padde shift without a 30 second delay like the 8 speed auto. I don't see much of a change in that respect.
I'm just curious who they are polling for these statements of overwhelming good feedback on their prototypes. Is it the same people they get for their real people commercials, because that would explain ALOT. |

seen this on msn , wasn't on the orginal posters message so i put it in here, i didn't read all the posts so i hope it's not repeated
The Camaro LT1 starts at $35,990, a $2005 drop compared to the current 2019 Camaro's cheapest V-8 model, the 1SS which starts at $37,995. It also just undercuts the cheapest V-8–powered Ford Mustang, the $36,450 GT. The Camaro LT1 is essentially the same as the Camaro's 1LT trim level, but with the 455-hp V-8 stuck under the hood. It also gets LT1 fender badges, the vented hood from the SS, and black bowtie emblems. A lesser wheel-and-tire package, with 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires that are the same size all around, ensures that the LT1 won't upset the performance hierarchy, as the SS still reigns supreme with its more aggressive, staggered-width summer tires.

so with incentives does this put a new LT1 in under $30k range? I mean it seems like 1SS are selling for around $31-32k with incentives

Bravo, GM! You have made me proud today. What is quite most impressive is that these updates only required one model year to implement.
Now, update the interior of your full-size trucks to be class-leading and I'll really be impressed! |

You have to be a special kind of weird to go on Camaro's official FB page and respond to this news with 'Don't care, I'm happy with my 15/16-18 and this one is ugly' remark while attaching a pic of your car. That says that you are insecure and need constant attention ... anyone who is thinking of posting something like that, please don't ....

Recall on 2019 SS front ends?
To be honest, there's a '19 silver convertible SS I've been noticing (shopping ZL1 convertible so kind of noticing all Camaros a little more ...) and it looks pretty good even with the MY19 front end, but __clearly__ this is an improvement. Smart business driven decision to offer the LT1 option. Holy shit, that's fantastic. |
