Hey, I found THIS set on Amazon; same Gorilla locks as THIS set, but you get 24 of them for $45 vs 20 of them for $60....same dimensions. I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing here, but I would think these would work, and you would have four extra wheel locks. Right? Anyone?

I'm sorry but the thiefs are able to break in and teal unstealable cars with expensive alarm systems yet the thought that 1 lugnut lock is going to keep an experianced thief from getting your tires is crazy.

OP, i feel your pain, When I stayed in an apartment I had my motorcycle stolen 3 days after moving to NC. IT was chained to a streetlight less than 5ft from my kitchen window, and it had a rotor lock. IT wasnt even 3 moths old, but insurance took care of everything. I hope you got insurance, and as far as aftermarket parts in the future, take pics after you install and of any serial# or distinguishing marks and give to your insurace agent so you can have it covered under your policy

sorry to hear. well i have had mine stolen but from the sop who WAS working on my car. no my dealer told me that there was no way to trace them unless you by any chance took the wheels off and looked at the serial number on the wheel. now if you find sets up for sale ask for the serial number then take it to your dealer to run it also with vin. if they match up theres your guy. again sorry to hear and i wish you good luck. i have yet to find mine. also keep an eye out for them on another car. |

i was on another post talking about the same thing, im going to tell you about a product that i saw at sema 09 i am no way affialiated or am i a rep of any kind with the company i am only telling the you guys what ive seen, the product is called rimlox it is a new style wheel lock, it simply slides on to all your studs and with a 1 of a kind key they are taken on and off. the rep from the company has told me that there is only 1 key made it is cnc cut from hardened steel. there is a cap that screws over them to make them apear as factory stock, i know they are expensive like around 400 per set as i remember but!! the sales rep told me that if you order 10 or more the price gets cut in half, if there is enough intrest i can call the company and see if we can do some kind of group buy for camaro 5 guys , im sure they would like to sell ALOT OF THESE so i dont see a reason why they wont work with us. again i am no part of the company if you have questions that i can answer pm i will gladly help try to stop the theft of our wheels

No shortage of ***holes in the world.
They can take your tires and, they can take your wheels, but you still own the hottest car on the road! So once you get new shoes for that beast go cruise your cares away

It's making me mad looking at your car. I'm so sorry. That's enough to take someone out over something like that. I just hope in their case the cops get them before you do. Aren't you worried for your car now at your home? Once you get it fixed?
