Yes hard to be fast with only 4 cylinders working.

AFM shuts off 4 cylinders while cruising, this was suppose to be for fuel mileage but I suspect it is more for emissions.

The only place it could be of any help on mileage is on completely flat roads with no stop and go.

Hard to push a 4000lb car down the road with just 4 cylinders and expect good performance.

In addition, after adding an aftermarket exhaust, AFM makes your car sound like a Honda Civic with a fart pipe .

Yes, Some companies offer for you to mail in your computer and they bench flash it.

This is a Poor way to do it because if something is not right you have to pull the computer mail it out and wait for it to come back.

Then you have No way to put the car back to stock

You have no way to log the car and check the tune.

You have no way to read and clear codes.

Trust me the best option is an SCT Tuner either X3 or iTSX

Ted.

Can the Intune support the same tunes as the SCT with mild or no mods for the L99?

Ted, so would you be against the idea of going to a performance shop to have a dyno tune done since I would be losing my stock tune? Havent decided which route is best for me...dyno tune or handheld tune.

It does not make sense for several reasons.

What is the Experience of the tuner?

How far from you is your tuner?

Each time you need a change you must travel back to your tuner

Each time you want to return to stock you have to travel back to your tuner

Each time you want to read codes you have to either purchase a code reader or go see someone who can read the code then vist your tuner to fix it.

This can all be done in your Driveway with JRE and SCT.

Ted.
