I heard JL has a kit for the Camaro to wake the stereo up. I agree it sucks.

Saw this in a hellcat the other day. Sounds bad ass too

For the stock system, BA is amazing. However it doesn't compare to aftermarket, I just bought a 2SS and everything will be changed out within a week or two, but seriously, it sounds great for being stock.

I think the BA system is pretty good...however, the speaker in the mid-dash is part of the issue because it pushes too many mid tones...they should have left it out, imo. Having said that, if you take time to tweak it, it sounds pretty decent. I run mine around 20 or so and it has good full sound with my eq settings...I don't use the eq presets. Anyway, it's good and solid but could use a clear, more punch low end...easily fixed with a sub addition. All in all I am pleased though. Sorry the op thinks it sux

Couldn't disagree more. get out of your upgraded stereo and get into a base model stereo in an LT silverado and listen to how much better it sounds.. thats not even the kicker upgrade or the bose upgrade.

My 07 tahoe bose sounded better, my 2010 F150 sony sounded better, the JBL synthesis in the sequoia sounds leagues better.. Honestly the only reason why im mad a year and a half later is because I bought my truck with a factory installed stereo that makes the camaro sound like a hammer on a tin roof with no depth or soundstage.

the BA system is ok if your listening to talk radio or listening to music at a moderate or low volume but if you want to listen to a song really close and turn it up you get a muddy distorted effect. guess it just depends on what you want out of a sound system. probably half of buyers will have no problem with the BA system. if you want a clear and loud system your not going to get it with the BA system. more powerful 4 or 5 channel amp will do wanders, and nice mono block amp for more bass if you need it and your going to hear the difference. once you hear the difference you will have a hard time going back!

Trying to get the system in my 2014 SS to sound like the one I did in my 2001 Silverado, hopefully I get it there. I think the BA speakers are the next to go, amps and sub just wasn't enough.

I have always felt the Boston system was weak especially compared to my coworkers stock Bose system in his charger and my wife's Sony system in her escape but just switching out the stock amp turns it into a system a million times better than either of those and quite good even compared to an aftermarket system
