Can you put the bowtie or the RS/SS emblems back on this grille or do you need different ones due to the shape of the heritage?

you can put the bowtie on... But i"m not sure about the SS... I will try this weekend and let you know.

SS emblem not so much. I mean, you CAN put it on. But you'll have to figure out a way to do it on your own. The base, and braket are not freindly to the heritage grill.

In both cases you will have to modify the existing mounting of them as they will not directly transfer over. many have shown how to do it in several heritage grill threads, so just look around the instructions are out there...

check out this thread. I bought an extra SS and the bracket, used a dremel and razor knife to make the bracket fit, used hot glue and zip ties. So far it holds at 180mph, yeah right. PQ I like the color

Yes. I just purchased the chrome bow tie that is sold as the insert for the gold plastic one on the stock setup. When I put my grill on, I just tossed the plastic backing part and just used the chrome bow tie. There are two threaded holes in the back that I used to fasten to a couple of bolts that holds the bow tie to the grill.
