At this time there is no Z28. The ZL-1 is the supercharged version of the Camaro.

People should stop comparing a ZL1 to other Camaro pricing and start comparing it to something that actually affects the ZL1's pricing: how much a similar GT500 costs.

I just don't see how it will come in at 47k, when the base GT500 is 48.6 and the ZL1 delivers more. Camaro's have been 1-2k more than the counterpart Mustang for the last 2 years, I highly doubt that will suddenly change in the opposite direction.

Contact C&D tell them not to write their 47K price tag story then. That is what started this debate.

If its that low I'll definitely sell my SS to get one. I was just about to start doing some mods so I hope they come out with the price soon.

I think there is justification in a premium, especially in this model, so this post wraps-up exactly my thoughts.

I will bet that car will be between 55 to 60 G's. A loaded SS now can reach about 40 or more. The blower alone is enough to bring the cost to 47 not to mention everythinbg else it has. My prediction would put it on par with what the GT500's are going for.

That would be awesome, but Im not so sure. Those auto sites were claiming prices months ago, before we even had a clue exactly what the car was going to be.

Believe it when I see it. Pricing is one of the last things GM does before a car is launched. Prob safe to say GM doesn't know either.

The RS package will likely be an additional option.

It sounds like RS package content is standard on ZL1; body color roof moldings, HIDs, and all the rest. I think the biggest option will be the suede package.

Yeah, they will not off the RS package on this. You ever heard of a ZL1 RS?
