I think its that the Chally guys are now used to sitting is such a spacious car. When you sit in the Camaro, the car feels like its caressing you and the view and everythiong just fits right and you get a feeling like your in a sophisticated(if thats how you spell that) chopped car. How tall are you. Ive heard even extremely Tall people have fit in the car. Im sure Ellie can reasure you on this.

The Camaro is a car you put on like a tailored suit.

I could be wrong. But it could that this was a test mule and not up to production standards. I remember reading a test drive before and at that time it was stated the interior wasn't 100% production and the exhaust wan't either. So these changes could very well not be implemen ted on this car. Either way I can't wait to get mine.

I'm with you Croathlete! I've only owned sub-200hp cars, although I test drove a 335HP 99 Camaro SS several years ago, and I recently drove a buddy's '06 GTO with an opened exhaust. Wow, what a ride! That felt awesome!! I'll even admit, it didn't have a "snap factor" that I expected from 400+ HP, but it was very nice and smooth, and very strong. In fact, as smooth as it felt, the car almost felt weightless. I hope the SS feels the same way.

No, I don't work for GM, but have been driving them since 1978

Sorry, I don't know who is driving the car in the other video. A bunch of guys got to drive the car this weekend, so it could be just about any car nut out there.

I'm just a little tired of the comments I am getting for trying to post a few simple comments on the car that I was lucky enough to drive, so that others might have a better insight into what the car is like in person.
