Thread revive I hope! I finally received the Revolution Sport Bar over the week-end!
Took a long time only because Dean had made some design improvements based on the feedback from Camaro5 members and then trying to find the right upholstry shop to finish the bar (First guy had a massive heart attack and had to be resusitated by the EMS in his shop!). Anyway, long story short, got the new improved bar in and installed it without ANY problems at all! no banging with a 2X4 or rubber mallet, no twisting or cussing, AND I did it by myself in about 30 minutes time! and the fit WAS spot ON!!! I will try to post pictures later today! The material and orange stitching matched my interior perfectly! I am very pleased with the results and can happily recommend the bar!!!

Don't like it at all. Too big and it is square.
and too expensive too. Take a look at this, here is your competition. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...d=203&Itemid=1 Edit. I do like the stitching though. |

[QUOTE=willhe64;5064070]Don't like it at all. Too big and it is square.
and too expensive too. But that's just it!! For the exact same reason you just gave for NOT liking the Revolution bar is the EXACT same reason I DO like it! I think it looks more like what GM would have put in the car if they had put an option for a sport bar in! I happen not to like the round CDC sport bar, but that is just MY own personal opinion. I am just glad there are 2 venders making 2 different sports bars, so we have a choice about how our cars are personalized for each of us! Different tastes for different people. I doubt there is another Camaro out there that looks just like my Camaro does! And for me, I liked the way the Revolution bar looked so I spent the extra money to get what I wanted.

Yes, and personal preference. I can respect your opinion, to each their own.
I question your taste however

Ok, got some pics of the completed installation. Like I said, took about 30 minutes with no beating or hammering at all!

If I had a convertable, one of the FIRST Mods I would be doing is adding the Sport Bar, and th one I would choose would be the "Revolution" Sport Bar. To ME it just looks better.

Good looking sport bar, like the stitching idea. They need to find someone that can sew straight relative to the seam. You can see this right away...

Stitching looks fine to me and it matches the car perfectly. I couldn't be happier, and since it's my car, I guess I am the only one who truly matters.
