I get it. But you were stating it using end of the spectrum for one car, meaning, using the decent good/time for the M3, and then comparing it to a less than average time (by review/semi-pro driver standard), with the SS.

I know you guys are a bunch of haters and all, and I know the SS isn't by far not the fastest out there, but Jesus. You guys really grasp for straws sometimes.

Haters? hahaha this is my 6th Camaro and I am simply open-minded enough when another car is superior to my Camaro and the M3 is, manual or otherwise. You must also hate that the 5.0 is "slightly" faster than the SS.

Tell them bro'. Nothing wrong with having "facts" and admitting the areas that can be improved.

Lol. Wow. I coming from the import scene, I thought the older crowd into these cars would have better reading comprehension. When have I said anything to the contrary than openly admitting that there are cars faster out there and better performers? I do believe, if you read my last post, I openly and blatantly say that.

However, when people post erroneous, inaccurate, and just plain retarded stuff, I'm going to call you out on it. Like someone saying that torque doesn't matter. Lol. Who says stupid shit like that?

You guys need to slow down and read more carefully, because you think you sound convincing, but you just come across as someone who a) reads what they want to read, or b) just lacks reading comprehensions skills. Or a combo of both.

Yeah "bro", tell 'em.
so why are you hatin? So u coming from the "import" scene...
The Camaro was/is faster than the import you had so you got one but this thread is stating the facts that the new (import) M3 is faster than your SS.... don't be hating "bro"

I'm seriously doubting the 12.7 is an average time for a stock (pre-2011) M3. Plus, you're assuming equal drivers in this scenario; it is very probable that one driver is better than another, hence the term "driver's race."

And my Corvette was faster than both my Camaro and my import and an M3. Big deal.

You just lack reading comprehension. I already stated that the auto M3 is by far than a stock standard SS.

Again, I'll say it again, and maybe you'll get it this time...the manual M3 vs the SS is a driver's race. .1-.2 can be made up in reaction time/launch/shifting on the drag strip. If you say it's not, well I don't know what to tell you...you must measure you're life in nanoseconds then.

I was stating the difference between a high 12's car and a low 13's car using a visual example. Insinuate what you will....

Lol. I was overexaggerating...but funny you OBVIOUSLY know who I was referring to. I was really just referring to the lab not quite accurate and silly notion that because the M can rev high to 8500rpms, that's why it beats the SS soundly. Which is retarded.

matchbox...You get hyped up pretty quickly. Chilax. The new M3 is faster than the SS, no big deal. Nanosecond or not, it just is. But a $34k Mustang 5.0 vs. M3...now, that is a driver's race...straight line or road course.

5.0 and SS = Driver's Race
5.0 and M3 = Driver's Race
M3 and SS = Not Driver's Race.

Anyone else see it? (Besides DG)

5.0 is slightly faster than M3 manual, apples to apples. So no, I don't see that. Unless you are talking about the M3 DCT then I agree.
