Anyone know how to translate the VIN into a production number?

The Chevrolet site says "Shipped/En Route", I wonder which site is more accurate/real-time? I'll see what Connects says tomorrow morning.

My car isnt bayed, just sitting at 3800. Sat at 3400 for 10 days, and now 3800 for 9 days. Exflirt has had her car shipped, and should be at the dealer monday...i think i will be the last one in our thread to be shipped.

mike25, from one Mike to another, my fingers are crossed for you! I hope yours is on the way shortly. At least it's built, and there's a VIN. It's "real".... it just needs to get here (or there as the case may be).

lol im begining to wonder if its real..i called to get an insurance qoute and they couldnt find the vin in GM's system!!!

I wouldn't worry about that. I tried to pull up the window sticker on about 5 Camaros that were heading to a local dealer -- each one said "in transit" in the dealer inventory, all had VINs, but no window stickers or data would come up on any of them.

My guess is there was some kind of QC issue and they fixed it or are fixing it. The wait is frustrating but I'd rather my car was the first time vs a bunch of trips back to dealer to fix TSBs.
