I will make a weather call that morning. I will tell you that I do not have a rain date or make up date scheduled yet. I also do not have an alternate indoor shooting location either.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a spot of good weather on Sunday.

This would take me a little over an hour to get to but if needed and the weather is good I could do it. The only thing I'm a little nervous about is no front tag on my car. I typically drive in DE and I've never been busted for it.

Yes, it was a mess when I got home looked like a domino effect happened.

Everything else seemed to be fine, so no big deal really.

Well, now I will have a good idea who the owner of the car will be when I see the MD transformers 5th gen pass me with no front plate. lol
Don't worry you can't be cited in DE for the MD violation because we only require one.

OP, as far as the 28th--- are spectators allowed? I know you have enough cars for the shoot, but if I can make it, I would just love to meet everyone and maybe catch the eats at the end.

u must have read my mind! i was just coming here to check to see what was going on about the weather! Please let me ASAP if there is going to be a cancel. i usually keep my car garaged in Fredericksburg, VA and drive my daily car to baltimore for work. If the photo shoot is going to be canceled i rather keep my baby hidden from the storm instead of out in the parking lot I should be leaving Fredericksburg Friday night or Saturday early morning to head back up to Baltimore

I will let you know as soon as possible. I am always going to to lean at the 51 percent mark to do it no matter what...but....I am also one for sticking to my military mindset of operational risk management. Not just for the people, but for our cars as well.
I can't tell you for certain that I can call it by Friday though. I was actually thinking of calling it no later than 1030 on Sunday. STAY TUNED

PHOTO SHOOT POSTPONED!!!

The great potential for hurricane conditions are to blame.

Ladies and Gents...I am sorry but I have to postpone the photo shoot that is currently scheduled for 28 Aug 2011.

Please understand that I have a logistics nightmare on my hands when it comes to planning and executing something of this magnitude. I feel as though it is too risky to ask you all to prep/travel and get here and find out it is a no go. What I hope to do is slide it a couple of weeks or so so everyone can regroup, models can be available and weather may cooperate. I am hoping that you all understand my reasoning and will participate when this comes back around. IF this were just some rain in the forecast, I would not cancel or postpone.

I have given you all enough notice so that you can salvage plans for the weekend....and again, I am sorry.

Stand by for the follow-on date!
