just installed mine - and i will be working on a flush wind screen(with alum. elec. conduit that i will custom bend)and that of course i will spray black.
imho, i think the revolution sports bar has more character- because it is thicker, but the cdc bar is reversible... for what ever reason you may have...just remove the speaker panels where you have access to the hex nuts, and get a pair of 1-5/8 black pvc plugs for the top panel holes-the bar will come right out.dont forget to remove the speaker panels- rear end first

thanks for the speaker tip btmonte. ,as i did not unplug them

here are some indoor pix, as it was raining cats and dogs for 4days in sw fla.

I agree on the Revolution VS CDC... the Revo bar has more contour and is sleeker looking, it fits the design flow of the car... bht there's also a significant price difference between the two as well. And as always, its a personal preference issue. I got a great deal on the Revo so I jumped on it. Now that I actually have it- I can see it would have been worth the full price; it looks that good.

Is panel/seat removal required for the CDC install or did you add something else? The revolution only requires popping off the top trim pieces on each side and using the existing seatbelt bracket bolt. Just curious on the mounting differences.

Boy, this took longer than anyone else quoted. It took 3 hours. Looks fantastic. This is a must. WhiteVert, where did you get the wind screen? How much?

OK, I called CDC. They are designing their own wind screen. They said the GM version fits but is slightly awkward. The new one will look much better.

it took me 4HRS+....and being extremely cautious.....i am not an auto mechanic of any kind, but i have excellent mechanical skills
as someone else posted- the next install will take a fraction of the time
i measured ten times-and only drilled once
my hats off to those who did it in less than half my time
