4. OBX headers $680
Total $1430

Thats $80 more than your sale price on one set of Kooks with catted connection pipes or the cost of one MacBook Pro. Are you really saying that about $100 worth of raw material bent and welded together hold the same value of my Mac? Please don't say it took as much engineering to build headers as it did to build a computer, software and all.
I give you props for at least all your mods being value based. My point on the Mac is that inside, it is the same parts as Dell, but with a 3x mark up because of the Apple designed case and software. They are likely even made by the same company in China. Of course..if Kooks were selling several million headers like Apple does, price would come way down. In reality I am gonna guess they sell more like 700-1000 units.

And I really don't want anyone to take anything super personal..I am just passionate about what I do.

Nothing personal taken, same goes for you. I understand your wanting to back your products. I only started this thread to share my good experience.

I would love for Maryland speed to dyno a car with a set of these headers and some Doug Thorley's which I plan on buying from them.

Considering there is hardly any STEEL on the car your correct. I'm speaking of steel not aluminum, plastic or any other such material. German and American steel is the best there is period.

Here we go again

Maryland Speed jumping in again with analogies when another great OBX experience is shared.

Why don't you guys just start selling OBX as a low cost option with your other stuff to pick up a market share on the east coast?

Just a thought

He did dyno them but against kooks. They made the same peak power and the kooks made a few more under the curve if I remember right.

All I can say is I had these on my car for over 20,000 miles and they were still perfect when I took them off. I only took them off because I got a deal on a complete system from LT's to tips.......If it had not been for that then I would still be running these.......besides for all the flak I took from Maryland Speed (EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT MY EXHAUST AND CATS FROM THEM) I wanted that kooks stuff off my car!

I was going to suggest that too. No doubt in my mind I would of bought them from Maryland speed. He could do some really great "power packages" with OBX headers.

There you go! When I first bought this car my buddy who builds LSx engines told me this "get on ebay and buy a set of ceramic coated Pacesetter headers, they are just as good as any other at a fraction of the price" I feel like just because this car is so new in the market every company tries to rape you on aftermarket parts. I see why a lot of people buy mustangs not much has changed in them for years so the aftermarket cant get marked up. Now if MarylandSpeed offered free tuning like other vendors I woiuld be all over a set of their headers.
