I think it looks kind of sad right now. No motor. No tranny.

The interior is coming out of it this week so it can have a 10 point cage welded in.

Here is the IPS vs other bolts.








If you recess the skid plate the flat ones will give you the best clearance.

I belive it's 2x the weight of aluminum LS3 approx. 110, LSX approx. 230, but much stronger.

Me too.

It is going into the shop for a cage next week, so all the seat and carpet will be coming out before it goes there. It will be gone for a while because it will go to the paint shop to have the cage painted before coming back to IPS.

In the meantime, the Hogan intake manifold is being fabricated. The new heads are done and they can start putting the engine together.

I also got an AMS-1000 boost controller last week.

Do you remember what static compression your building the new motor for? The ams 1000 seems to be the creme of the crop of boost controllers. Are you planing to use a boost by gear thing or just multiple settings of different power levels? Good luck with the project, it will truly be a work of art when finished.
