We have to weigh at least 3400 lbs with driver, no fuel when completed per the series rules.

We are shooting for a 3000 lb wet weight, no fuel no driver. Currently its 2850 lbs, minus chassis wiring loom, engine loom, and a few panels and fasteners plus the added weight of the paint/primer/clear on the bodywork.

Great job! Love all the workmanship. I was looking to do something similar with the gold heat shield on my project.

Stop Tech Trophies brakes are also the same ones I'm leaning towards using.

Wing, wing mounts, and rear bumper cover going on.

Wiring and interior plumbing going in.

Underhood plumbing is almost finished

*Notice the LG Strut Tower brace! Same as we sell for your car!

Coilovers? How will the strut tower brace attach to the firewall on street cars?

Just as you see there, the car has the factory firewall in it, just the wiper cowl is removed for this picture.

AST did the shocks and we are doing the mounts for the kit. All of which will be available in the near future.

More body parts coming in today and going to paint tomorrow

This is one of the reasons that your stock SS makes more than a legal race car. We have to breathe through a 1.6" hole as the series legal restrictor.

We are however using parts of our G5 Velocity Cold air intake!!!

Stock door (no panels, glass or hardware) is 50lbs each. Carbon doors are 9lbs
Stock trunk lid 19lbs, carbon lid 7.5 lbs
Stock front fenders 9lbs, carbon fenders 2.6 lbs

Fenders, trunk, and hood can all be used with stock parts. The doors will fit to stock hinges and handles but do not accept any inner door panels, or glass. Currently race car only at this time.
