I called and left voice mail with whomever they would transfer me to. I finally talked to Bill Lawton(who is not the GM, he is Facility manager). He was nice and said he would relay the message and he also told me that Owen McCumber is the GM(may not be exact, but close....was hard to hear).
Need more people to call this dealership!! I was not nasty, but I made sure they knew how many people would be finding out about this BS. |

Ok guys, issued resolved. I have spoken with the CEO of Mac Haik and he could not have been more apologetic and humble. He did and said all the right things so I say lets close the issue. He is embarrassed at how it was handled by his own people so I cannot blame the dealer or GM for an employee that created this whole mess.
I accept their apology, I have told them so and I am very appreciative of them contacting me right away and doing the right thing! I will get my CGM 2SS/RS with 20" polished wheels for MSRP as promised. Thanks for the support from all of you. Last edited by OldTimer; 05-07-2009 at 11:15 AM. |

here is a copy of an email I just sent the dealership.
A good friend of mine orderd a new 2010 CGM 2SS/RS Camaro from you on Oct 15th 2008. He has a written contract and yesterday when he went to pick up the car the sales manager Corey Echols then stated he did not care about a written contract and he could not pick up the car at MSRP it would cost $8,000 over MSRP. What kind of dealership you run there? I was going to order a new camaro but with this kind of customer care I would NEVER order a car from you. This is total B.S. My friend is going to write the news papers. BBB, state attoney general, local, state and federal political reps and the manufacturers legal office (GM in Detroit). This is just a piss poor way of running a business and this reflects on GM and is partially to blame for the current finiancial situation GM is presently in. Shame on you for being so greedy. I just wanted to let you know how I felt about this and your dealership. I hope he sues you.
