Lightbulb Just "WOW"

You really dooooo have patience ! I checked on the 2010 and '11 convertibles as they came out and the top/set-up fit really sucked. The seats in the SS 's were crap too. Finally they got a '12 Rally Yellow in that looked and (seats) felt good..so I bought it..and it will BE traded in on a NEW ZL1 conv. as soon as they get one in thats my color... hope everything finally works out for you.........Then trade it in!

camaro pee

more problems caused by the install than if the original top had been left just to eat itself. i too have the "camaro pee pee pants" when i drive in the rain. i wish one of these big shot g.m. execs had to walk into a meeting with a wet crotch from a leaking top and explain to the board how it is normal

Yep, the LS1 350 hp. Needs a new rear axle seal on driver's side.
Going to a custom shop next week. The dealer said "it's been years" since they installed one.

Went to pick up car today with the new retro-fitted canvas, I refused it. Top pulled away from the frame at DS quarter glass, tried to re-install but the rail opening is too large for the top. Also, tension cables routed incorrectly on both sides, they were cut through the weatherstrip at the top of the quarter glass and exposed to the exterior....seen this before, definitely incorrect. Cannot elaborate further, lips are tied right now so-to-speak. :(

Sometimes you just gotta move on man, I'd unload the car and get something else. It's obvious this car is never going to measure up to your standards.

Hey, what percent is the tint on that coupe in your signature, that looks sharp.

On the vert, I'd punt. Order up a new one, and it better be problem free and no cost. Good luck, hope all works out in the end.

The tint I believe is 20. The black on black makes it look darker. My last one had darker tint making it a bitch to see out of in the dark. Thanks!

Quoted for the truth that it is. Hard to believe that after all this, people to this day are being told that their screwed up tops are "normal". It just ain't right.

Here's the newest problem, top #4. Saw this today. Top has been down twice since getting it back from the dealer. Today I wanted to re-route the exposed cables, since the dealer and it's installers are clue-less to the correct routing. I will educate them Tuesday. However, of more concern, was after I inspected areas of known issues I found this.... (This is a brand new "retro-fitted" canvas top.)

Holy CRAP. I am so glad I inspected my car prior to delivering it to them the first time for repair. I knew I did not have that extensive water damage you have. I'm assuming your attorney will be showing GM those photos. Unreal what you are going through.
