I'm sorry, GM has to have some input there. If every friggin dealer did that GM would have even more problems than they do now.

Damn, and I thought Toledo was bad. D-Bad dealerships are everywhere.. not just GM either. But it's not GM's fault... it's the owner's fault for playing the franchise game and losing hard at the cost of his underwriters and suppliers.

Heck, some have even moved to selling imports to continue their d-baggery. Vive la DeNooyer CHEVY!

The Director at GM that I am working with on the QC cars has no authority over what a private dealership does. As sad as it is the only thing option she really has is a lawsuit. She has a written agreement on an agreed upon price, they are breaking the contract. The sad part is by the time she wins the car will be gone.

I truly home this helps sway the dealers mind.

Words simply fail me on this

These folks need to understand that not only will their name be mud on this community but we have muscle car enthusiasts of all types who visit these forums and they stand to lose significantly more in terms of good will and word of mouth than they will ever make on short term hike on this single car

This sort of behavior at a time when the car industry needs all the goodwill it can get is simply insane.
People have long memories and this sort of short sighted, money grubbing BS will be remembered for years
