I have the SLP faded gill inserts, I HATE the quality which makes them next to impossible to install correctly, but they look DANG good. These are a little too dark for my liking and the SLP's are very light, but you can tell they are there.

Grumble... I applied the decals not really knowing the best way yesterday. They turned out ok. I see some of the lines not extactly true and bubbles underneath. I tried to push the bubbles out but some wont budge and with persistence it appears I might damage the vinyl... STILL looking for suggestions.

I am telling you guys, 1/4 to 3/8 roll of pinstriping and 1 hour of your labor. Minimal tallent required. About $5.00 and you can customize to your taste. they will look great and last like any other pinstriping. Use a hair dryer on low setting.

I just used water with a few drops of dish soap in a spray bottle. Cleaned the area with alcohol then sprayed the back of the decal and put it on. I had to adjust it a bit though, that's why it's easier to do a wet install because you can move it around before it dries. I squeegeed it a little bit and let it dry. I did one on each side at a time so I would give it some time to dry before putting the ones next to it on. I did my hash marks myself too. You have to be patient.

Really soap water? Aren't these just vinyl adhesive stickers? I would have thought the soapy water would have prevented the adhesive from sticking. Wish I knew this before.

yeah soapy water but not too much soap literally just a drop or 2 depending on how much water your mixing it with. when you push the water out from underneath the decal it will stick.

Just washed the car and decided to put on my gills. Looks really good. It's fairly simple. Just make sure you have enough soap in the water.

I put like 10 drops in and tried to do it and it was too soapy. Everytime I tried to squeege it, it just slid around. I only added like 3 drops and it worked perfectly.
