And for some reason the 1LE spoiler?

Maybe something available that hasn't been announced yet about spoiler options?

Judging from the pic,the ride height also looks bone stock SS.

I only know about the 2013 SS new style wheel shortage due to some natural disaster in China and is still affecting orders today.

So safe to assume this car was produced at least 60 days ago and seeing the window stickers is aimed at being sold.

I haven't heard of the stock black ZL1-1LE wheel having production problems....maybe they are?
You're stretching, imo. The new style 20" polished wheels are the wheels being affected by the natural disaster. Midnight silver RS and painted silver standard SS wheels(which is what the car above has) are not affected. 1LE/ZL1 black wheels are limited right now. They are constrained and limited every ZL1 allocation week. That's the reason that 1LEs remain limited each week as well.

This being a regular SS with synergy calipers doesn't make sense. There's no 2013 Synergy series and the only SS to get red calipers is the 1LE. So, it really just points to it being a 1LE without wheels, hood wrap and splitter.

I do believe the wheels pictured are the new for 2013 styled wheels

I had heard somewhere, can't recall exactly, that colored Calipers were going to be offered in the future?

So I was taking a wild guess like everyone else

So we really don't know EXACTLY what it is yet and may not ever.

I never said that they weren't. Those are the standard SS wheels for 2013. They are the painted silver ones, which aren't the wheels affected by the natural disaster. That only applies to the new style polished wheels.

Looking inside should answer the question if its a 1LE in some weird form. It would still have the wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

Not trying to be argumentative but I don't understand what you are saying.

Unless you mean that the new for 2013 Standard wheels are still the NEW style just not polished. You can see how this could confuse some people.

There are 4 different sets offered by GM for SS for 2013.

1 new style polished.................$470.00........natural disaster limitations
2 new style bright silver finish...............$0.......no problem......standard
3 old style polished only(2010-2012).....$470.00.........no problem option
4 ZL1 style for 1LE(black only)..............$0...............limited....1LE only

Seems weird GM would manufacture the Same wheel with just a different finish at 2 different plants...but what do I know

They are 1LEs that are missing some 1LE content. I saw them there on that 12 Mile Rd lot a couple months ago when there was about 15 of them there. I'd guess they were built before all the stuff like wheels were ready. Must be some event somewhere that a bunch of silver 1LEs were built for.

I'm disturbed by the last part: "End-of-life recyclablility."
It's a Camaro, not a Camry dammit! As a future classic, it will never be allowed to die!

That's exactly what I'm saying. There are actually 5 because bright silver finish becomes midnight silver when WRS is ordered. Now, GM doesn't manufacture the wheels. A wheel manufacturer makes them for GM. The manufacturer may or may not be the one that polishes those wheels. I'm guessing that they're not because the other 2 finishes for the new 2013 20" wheel are not affected.

Here's a 20" wheel breakdown for 2013 for those confused.

An educated guess judging by what we know so far. Black spoiler, dual-mode exhaust, unpainted shark fin, red calipers. The black 1LE wheels are on constraint, so here goes... It's a 1LE waiting on the wheels and hood wrap that is probably done at a different location similar to the vinyl stripes that are an option on the Camaros.

They may be parade cars for the NEW F1 race at the Circuit of the Americas later in November in Austin, Texas. I do not have a clue to what manufacturer is a sponsor to this event.
