The movie was crap, they added in so much junk, it's a 3 hour annoying-fest, with a pair of ghetto bots, and just the most rediculous garbage. It's such an injustice to the first movie, which was down to earth (as much as a movie about transformers can be) and focused on the tasks at hand instead of juggling five different movie genres.

Awful experience. I just don't know what they were thinking. They committed so many horrible plot mistakes, things that a plot should never do.

1. bring back dead villain
2. introduce new characters of utmost importance that had no basis in earlier works.
3. appeal to immature kids who like slang and bickering.
4. introduce completely incoherent plot elements.

I'm so ticked. I bought the first one on bluray after waiting FOREVER due to the bluray/hddvd war, it's one of my favorite movies. The second one craps all over it.

Remember they learn everything from the Internet...they probably checked out Paul Wall's (white rapper) myface page.....ghetto??C'mon...more like a poor man's version of Jar Jar Binks.....Bay probably called George Lucas on that on.....

The Twins bickering are what kids do....I have two twin nephews and they were always fighting with each other..pain in the asses they were..they're all grown up now and in the Marines.....

If you saw Bad Boys II that was worse, though it wasn't based on a children's "TOY".....Michael Bay probably had a Bad Boys II moment.....

Summer movies is about "shit being blown up"...mindless storyline and fun-fun-fun-if you were looking for substance, sorry you was disappointed...The Notebook it wasn't meant to be....

I don't usually listen if it's something i want to see, but when every review is really bad, and internet sites like aintitcool.com, that specialize in sci-fi movies, hate it, i tend figure there is something to it.

Yeah the critics were wrong on this one. Maybe they felt that humor in a transformers movie was off putting?...I do have to say that there are some moments in the movie that are just friggin hilarious. My dad and i were laughing our butts off in the theatre when bumblebee "helps" Sam out with his girl problem. If you havent seen it...GO NOW!

This one has alot more action...and The new Bumblebee is awesome...I WANT THAT HOOD AND FRONT FASCIA.

If you are going to see Transformers for a "deep philosophical vision of sci fi" you have more significant mental problems which require a doctor's visit and some pretty stiff drugs....sheesh. Go watch Back to the Future and good luck with the doc.

OK lets think about this for a second.....

What is Transformers deep down??????

a damn CHILDREN'S CARTOON from the 80s.

Of course its made for damn teenagers.

This is not supposed to be a thought provoking movie.... It is simple entertainment for YOUTH....... just like the cartoon was.

To be fair that movie was 10x the movie Transformers 2 was in terms of storyline and plot development. I also happened to like it.

Transformers 2 sucked pretty hard in terms of any storyline or character development. Even the fight scenes suck because you can't see what's going on 90% of the time.
