I have seat cover over my cloth right now, when the covers start to get old in a year or two I will decide then if I want to recover or just let them be. I like the idea that they are still pristine under the covers for when ever I deside to let them out again and at that time they will look like new

I don't really like the leather either but I think I would tolerate it for the Inferno Orange interior. Wish they made the Inferno Orange in cloth...

I have cloth for a variety of reasons. One being it was the car I could afford. The other being I don't much care for leather to begin with.

It's not a matter of 'couldn't afford' it's more like a matter of 'didn't want to afford' so I bought a cheap SS.

Everything on wheels around here is paid for though.

Well I had 2 convertibles with leather seats, decided on the Camaro I didn't want to burn my Ass every time I left the top down for 10 minutes without being in the shade. Cloth for me. I do have leather in my Saturn Vue....

This. GM Leather is garbage. Had it in my Firehawk and TBSS. Even with regular conditioning they started showing signs of wear on the bolsters. The cloth seats in my old formula still looked new after 80K miles. I can't say I ever stuck my nose in the seat so I can't speak to any odor problems.

Vinyl use to be standard equipment and cloth was the upgrade. Now the manufacturers take vinyl and stitch some leather to it and charge extra.

could have got a 2lt fully equipped with back up camaeras, HUD, heated leather seats, navigation, etc... but then i decided on none of that with a V8 engine instead. No regrets.

I like my cloth seats too! The SS I test drove initially was a 2SS and it wasn't so much that I didn't like the leather (it was fine) but I really didn't like the painted hard plastic door inserts and dash strip (they were painted a generic gloss silver if I recall). The cloth option wraps those two pieces in a similar cloth material giving a less "cartoonish" look that I prefer. I do have a dog now however and admit that I would happily live with the painted plastics to cut down on vacuuming. And obviously both interiors are way better than the Mustang's rubber dash!

I'm concerned that so many here apparently know what sweaty human butt smells like.
