2014 Camaro Taillights

The taillights are the best part about the redesign. It's the rest of the ass end that looks hideous.

Just look at the 2013 Victory Red 1LE's VS the CRT 1LE's. Red Hot hasn't been shown yet and it's not metallic.

I had a typo in my post, I said red hot metallic and meant red rock metallic.

Basically, I love these CRT pics on this thread, but why does the CRT in the 2014 ZL1 pics theead look so dull? If I change my order to CRT and it comes out looking like the ones on this thread, then I'm doing it. If its gonna look like that dusty 2014 ZL1, ill keep my Red Rock Metallic

Crystal red is beautiful. These are on the roads right now so you can see one in person. I ordered CRT before it came out, and was really happy I did. Victory red doesnt hold a candle to it.

Red rock from what I can tell is just as amazing as CRT, but i like to lean more towards red, instead of the Orange/ pale red.

Also, im okay with the tailights, its the giant hunk of plastic taking up the back bumper, and the bigger trunk lid area on the back that look terrible. (i know the trunk isnt bigger, but they took out the line that used to break it up a bit)

The front and the back still look like an angry or pissed off asian face to me. Squinty.

And obviously the chrome strip is dumb.

I LOVE that the taillights wrap around the sides. And I like that the headlights are dished out of the front bumper.

Even though it will date the 2010-2013, I still think I would buy the dated car that looks good, rather than the new looking car that looks kinda weird

Way back when, I've always said red is the worse car color to have. And my first new car will be "black on black on black". Now, however, I'm almost sure I'm going to change my order from RRM to CRT

Yawn................ Just admit it, they suck. Go ahead and try to justify it any way you want, they blew it. Plain and simple. If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT. The tail lights were GREAT just as they are. Just sayin but highly disappointed.

these are only passable because they're "new". When these go get replaced (and they will) they'll lose any if not all support.

I didnt like them at first, but they grew on me and now i love them, but i still like the old ones as well, its just different!!!

For those that don't remember, the 2014 Camaro taillights are very similar to the 1993-2002 Camaro taillights... As well as the 3rd gens.... As well as the late 2nd gens.... and the same overall shape as the 1st gens, even though 1st gens' taillights were flat...

When I saw the magazine pics of the 2014 I was really sad as I liked the current tail lights. I wanted a 2013. But, after seeing several in person I loved it. From a functional perspective - they are easier to clean by the way. LOL

I had no issue rolling off the lot with my 2014.

I didn't like the first 14 rear when I saw one. But now that I own one and have modded the rear, I personally really like it. Of course I pay for it also…. JS
