Childish in humor and life-decisions; Bravo! What you're doing is incredibly reckless and immature. Grow up and take it to the track. You'll be safer, have a lot more fun and you won't have so much in common with a 16 year old who just got their license.

say what you will but i went to the track a few times and i broke things...... when i went to to local street races i had more fun. people crash, do stupid things but i never got caught up in any of that. i did the street racing for about 6-7yrs and nothing has ever happened to me. you pick n' choose when and when not to do things. im not sitting here saying that street racing is the way and its safe, far from it; but it happens all the time and 16yr olds are not the ones always doing it.

It also holds fwd production car record(for one sold in us) at willow springs, VIR, nurburgring, laguna seca. It laps laguna seca just as fast as a new evo x or the old evo.
if it was just about speed than I would have bought a different car .That's just like ppl picking a mustang just because it's faster. I just said looks with speed is what I like . The cobalts was nice cars but not for me to small and not my style. I loved the 2006-07 Monte Carlo ss those are sweet looking and sounds killer with aftermarket exhaust. Plus, was a nice size.

A turbo back exhaust , intake , intercooler and aftermarket tune could turn that car into something that would eat a stock SS and thats $2000 or less in mods on a car that you could probably pick up for $11000 with under 30k miles.
yea, I'm talking about a car that performs good and is one of the best looking. You always can find a faster car but if it doesn't look good I wouldn't care. The Bugatti is super fast but that thing is ugly .

Ofcourse, you can make any car faster than the ss and v6 . Looks with speed that's what I was talking about.

I assume you're talking about drag racing, correct? That is not what we're talking about and it is very, very different. What we're talking about is road racing (i.e. with turns) on public streets. It is only 16 year olds doing this, either physically or mentally.

LOL nope! not my style I'll take a 2006 ss Monte carlo or a 2004 ss impala with a tune to win against you.

I can get a stupid ricer to beat your SS don't mean crap. I seen a v6 impala beat a viper.

Gotta Share This v Story

So i just got home and first thing I did was hop on camaro5 and figured I'd share this, and I seen this forum was poppin...

So lets talk hypothetically, no street racing....

Anyways, I'm driving home from work and I stop at the "track" and this old school muscle car pulls up next to me (I'm not versed enough to know what it was but the flat front and the buldged hood suggested a challanager/camaro) and it def had the cammed v8 sound to it. (im guessing mid 70s by the body)

Going on we take off from the "green light" and I had him by a half a car the whole way..

I figure maybe a fluke, even though my v6 juices were flowing, then about 2 miles down the road he tries to give it a go, pulling up along side and gunning it at 40 mph, again my "v6" car smoked him... but not by as much.

Anyways pretty excited that my v6 machine could beat out a authentic muscle car of old days....

The LS4 W-bodies were terrible cars. You'd probably make it halfway down the dragstrip before the transmission exploded.

An Impala SS would be lucky to break out of the 15s at the dragstrip without snapping it's front axles. Front wheel drive crap like the Impala and Monte Carlo is exactly the reason GM ended up in bankruptcy. Nobody with half a brain would pay 30 grand for that junk! At least the Cobalt was affordable. You make fun of a cobalt SS but with your Impala. your driving a bigger, slower, worse handling, much uglyier 4 door version of the Cobalt. Well played sir.

I was thinking along the same lines as you man! lol. I cant decide if he is just trying to get a rise out of people or what. If he is being serious, It has to be a high schooler, or a young college guy talking all that nonsense. lol

Cobalt SS may be quick, but I prefer the gasoline powered gatling gun sound of the V8 any day of the week.

Just sayin', people have asked him multiple times to state his age and he always dodges or ignores the question.
