SS has been on cars that deserve it.. tell me one SS car that GM has made that was not SS material?
the 4th Gen was v6 and Z28 until in 96 SLP got involved and created the SS... GM took it after that for the rest of the 4th gen cycle. We are back to what it is supposed to be.... v6 < SS <Z28 |

This is not a thread regarding a debate on the placement of the Z28 in the Camaro line.
There are other threads where this can be debated. Please stay on topic.

Plus I think the old SS badge looks horrid on a 5th gen. The modern SS badge fits it like a glove. Ive seen photoshops with the retro styled and actual '69 Z28 badge; its looks worst on the car than the old SS badge does. But all this is personal opinion. Also I had an idea in mind that would play on the RS recognition on the badging of the SS cars. The new Z28 badge would have a red "Z" in the badge if it was equipped with the RS package (Z28/RS) and a white "Z" on Z28 without the RS package (Z28).

I based mine from the C6 Z06, to keep it with the times. Plus that custom badge design belongs to emblempros.

lol actually its a reversed zr1 corvette emblem so it kinda is keeping up with the times, ultimate vette , ultimate camaro =]
few other examples ![]() ps: and i know it belongs to emblempros i just think it has its own look instead of looking just like a c6 z06 badge

With the Z in Red and in the block it favors the C5 still in my opinion:
![]() Now if I was to make a ZL1 Camaro (note: note ZR1, like a vette) I had this one. I had that in mind for the ultimate camaro. ![]() To keep up with the times.

Jinx any word on a SEMA Camaro from you? I wish I could get my color combo in my head brought to life by you but I lack the words to give you at the moment lol I am colection my thoughts for you though... & this Z is gorgous I do have a question (I am in Iraq & have yet to see 1 in person) how would the grill look if it was replaced with a resessed honeycomb (forgive the reffernce...) such as the GT500? Either flat or angled a touch to follow the line (have no idea what a side view up close of the grill looks like or what it would do to the lines) just a queastion I've had in my head for some time now & I figure you are the perfect guy to answer (unless someone has already done it & I haven't as an availble grill)?
